Ambassador Scholarship Program
Ambassador Roles
The Minneapolis Aquatennial Ambassador Scholarship Program includes the ambassador positions of Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes and Princesses.
During their one year term, they represent the Minneapolis Aquatennial by fostering relationships with other community festivals and with Twin Cities businesses and organizations.
They achieve this while performing on-stage public speaking, networking, volunteering and other public appearances. The Aquantennial Ambassadors are held to a high standard of professionalism and poise.
For these reasons, the ambassador positions are considered public relations internships focused on community, leadership and scholarship. In recognition of their year of service, all three ambassadors receive an educational scholarship provided by the AAO.
Scholarships
A Minnesota nonprofit, Section 501(c)(3) public charity, the AAO is led solely by volunteers. The Aquatennial Ambassador Scholarships are funded entirely by the generous donations of its members.
Help the AAO continue to inspire young women to achieve extraordinary futures.
Partners
The AAO is fortunate to have community and business partners who help provide unique and memorable experiences for our ambassadors and ambassador candidates.
