AAO Breaks Give to the Max Day Record

The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization jump-started its 2017 Membership Drive while participating in Give to the Max Day on Thursday. Generous donors gave $975.00 during the one-day event; smashing AAO's previous Give to the Max Day record of $50.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funding, the AAO completely relies on the generosity of its Members, Partners & Sponsors. The AAO hosts several programs and events during the Minneapolis Aquatennial Festival each July. The organization also provides educational scholarships to the Minneapolis Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes and Aquatennial Princesses in recognition of their year-long service as ambassadors.

The Mission of the AAO is "to Inspire young Minnesota women to achieve extraordinary futures by providing professional development opportunities through networking and mentoring." To help the AAO advance this mission, please become a 2017 Member. Learn more>

The AAO sincerely thanks everyone who became Members on Give to the Max Day! Give to the Max Day is an annual online giving campaign produced by GiveMN-a collaborative venture led by the Minnesota Community Foundation.
